My Story
Helena Richardson
I started practicing Ashtanga yoga in 2013 in my home town Warsaw, Poland. At that time I worked in quite hectic and stressful environment and yoga brought this peaceful state to my mind also fulfilling my physical expectations. While my practice had been developing I wanted to deepen my knowledge, learn from international teachers and explore physical and spiritual aspects of yoga. The path of my journey brought me to Bali. I was introduce there to variety of yoga styles including Vinyasa Flow, Hatha, Restorative, Yin Yoga. I learnt more about pranayama and meditation and started incorporate them into my own practice.
In 2015 I became certified Yoga Teacher. Since then I was teaching in Indonesia and Australia, leading open level group classes at yoga studios as well as private one on one and small group classes.

Now I live in Newcastle area in Australia and want to invite you to practice with me.
You can join my open level group classes at the yoga place Blacksmiths or choose private 1 on 1 or small group sessions.
You can also practice with me now thru my YouTube channel no matter where in the world you are :)

My aim as a yoga teacher is to help my students reach their deeper potential. In my classes I focus not only on alignment of posture but also on a way we move and transition from pose to pose. Sharing my passion and knowledge in accessible way. I want to help my students develop more awareness, control and understanding of how their body and mind work.
I believe yoga is for everybody, that’s why I offer lots of variations and modifications in my classes to make this practice accessible to anyone, who wills to learn.
